Sometimes there will be one prompt. Sometimes there will be many prompts. Sometimes there will be no prompts.
Choose one. Ideally, you should just sit down and write for 20-30 minutes, but you can take two days or five minutes. You can also do all of the prompts if you want to go back and do a past prompt on a day that there isn't a new one.
To keep things uncluttered, only I can make postings of prompts. Your writing is to be posted either to your journal (please just give a link back here as source - outside sources utilized here will be cited on this journal) or as a comment to the prompt post from which it was taken. You don't HAVE to post what you write, but it's keen to share since sharing encourages others.
If you want critique/commentary, ask for it. Otherwise, it's assumed you don't (since these are 'exercises' anyway...). Don't be shy. No one is here to 'judge', just to exercise our talents. It's the only way they improve!
There are two rules; 1. Remember this is MY community/journal. 2. Don't be a jerk. Not just here. Anywhere.
Source Info will be posted here or in the entry with the prompt, for those that want to know what books/resources you can use on your own for prompts and exercises.
If you have any questions, comments, or snide remarks, please direct them to me; lilithraevyn. My contact info is in my profile.
